Why Families Choose WISS
The Only Full IB School in Mainland China.
WISS is the first and only school in China authorized to offer all four IB programs — PYP, MYP, DP, and CP. Your child can join at age 2.5 and graduate at 18 on one coherent educational pathway, without ever switching schools or curricula. For families who relocate frequently, that continuity matters.
A School That Knows Your Child.
Our 1:8 staff-to-student ratio is among the highest of any international school in Shanghai. WISS teachers know their students individually, which is why learning support reaches the students who need it — early.
A Community That Will Feel Like Home.
Students from 65+ nationalities have called WISS home.
We accept applications year-round, and our admissions team offers campus tours throughout the school year.
